FAQ

It might take a day or up to 3 days to have your request processed depending on the type of care you need; we feel it’s best to do a first-time assessment with you and your trustee. Our visit is to sit down with you and your trustee to build a custom care plan around your needs. This includes the type of service, duties for the service, schedule time you would like service, caregiver preference and other important details that matter to you. It’s free to set up your care you only pay for the services done.

There is no place like home. Home is a comfort whether the need is short term or long-term care. Things are familiar to you and that in a new place where many will feel their independence and their long-term memories are lost. No matter the age everyone does better at home. That why we understand to make things easy for you to be at home with the right plan of service(s).

Our agreement is a service agreement with our clients it is not a contract. This means you can cancel by providing at least 24-hour notice and you will be billed for the completed services. Each care plan is tailored to your needs. Even with our apps, we leave a care plan binder that our staff and clients double-check to make sure no duties were missed on that visit. Or they can do the missed duty the next visit day.

We do all our hiring in-house, and we train them too. It might take a few days for them to be fully ready to start working with you. But we try to make sure they understand our procedures and health and safety standards when working with you. Plus, it gives us a chance to get to know who they are so we can better team them with our clients. We call it a more personal touch when assigning caregivers. But we try to accommodate their work hours too. They are human just like you with have a family they also need to be there for. We hire compassionate skilled personnel who can bring their talents to work wonderfully with you.

Our clients will receive a login to access to service app to see the scheduled care time and your care worker assigned. You may share the login with other trusted family members as well. Our workers also work with our app to clock in and clock out and to see what duties are needed to be done. They can leave messages for you as well and be notified of new changes to your service duties.

We do a two-point reporting system, so we don’t miss anything. On the app, they just click a button on the tasks done, write it’s just a checklist of what was done. And our caregivers can write out detailed changes in your condition as well that you can take with you to your doctor visits. We can send reports to your doctor upon request by the clients or trustees. You can leave notes for care giver in the care binder or call the office for us to pass the message on.

We do a minimum of 1-hour rates to most of our services

Some of our services have a special bundle rate that is for 3 -24 hours day/night rates that are lower costs than at the regular-priced rate per hour.

Depending on the type of problem, you can talk it over with your caregiver if you need to change a time on a day and they can let us know the reschedule day/time. But if no accommodation is agreed with both parties, we could certainly assign a temp worker for that assigned schedule who would be happy to be there for the short time needed until your regular worker is ready to be back on schedule.   For services that have more than one caregiver, we can ask your care team if they would be willing to extend a few hours to cover the shift or if one is off that day if they would be willing to cover the shift until the regular caregiver is able to return back to regular time shift. Or we assign a temp caregiver for the shift that needs to be covered

Most health care Agencys use the term “Patient” We feel that is a preferred term in health care facilities. We love using “Client” because in a home setting we are coming to your home that should remain a safe place for our clients and their families.  We really care about client and caregiver relationships. You have a regular caregiver who is willing to be that supportive friend in helping you with the requested duties in your care plan. No matter if you are having a good or bad day at home we don’t rush on the care we provide. Plus our friendly staff is just a call or email away to help out. If by chance we missed your call, leave a message. We consider all messages and emails important and will get back to you the same day or next business day. If it’s really important you may not have to wait too long.

Our services are priced at a reasonable cost but you get a premium level of care. We have included bundle day/night rates to some of our services that families need someone to look after their loved ones for more than an hour. We can work with those who are on a limited income. There are no costs when services changes you are only billed on the services completed by the agreed service rate.

Billing can be set up to your request, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. All payments are due upon reciting, you can also decide where to receive the bill by mail or email. For payment can be a check, money order or by online through email by clicking the pay now button.

We do facility agreements to cover shortage caregiver shifts.

We also offer extra care services to your loved ones if you require help in their main care such as bathing, feeding or companionship. Our care team will give the same treatment as our clients not in a facility.

Our area of service on the main page, contains a list of the regions, cities and towns that are in operation. We are a growing company and hoping to open up in other regions as well. You may give us a call to enquirer if we are opening up in your area. We do update our website regularly.

We have many services that not everyone needs. Some just need a little help here and there and others need full-time care. We do have a few that are like a package deal that can be custom to what you need to be done on different days of the week. Again, you are just paying for the agreed rate for the hours you requested per visit. All services are custom-tailored to your needs. We love to have talented schools, entertainers and musical performers contact our event team if they would like to apply. All shows should be family fun for all ages. All applicants are requested to do a pre-show presentation either in person or by video for our team to be approved. We are looking for volunteers to help with the program actives or events. Duties include helping the event team with setup, support and clean up. Anyone who is looking for community hours such as high schoolers and mature adults may enquire with the event team for application process.

We do things in a different way than most homecare companies and maybe a few things are still traditional. We have chosen not to have an office facility or storefront. So that our overhead stays low, and our staff are paid a living wage.  The Company’s profits do not all end up in the owner’s pocket but are reinvested in the company for new projects, staff benefits, support programs, and other things we decided to do. We consider all employees staff even the ones who take care of the clients on a daily basis.  We are a Canadian family-owned and operated corporation and we treat all our staff like family. Seriously we’re not in for the profits but we love the idea of people profit. People profit is hiring staff who are just as compassionate as us bringing the best care to others and having the wonderful skills to keep growing in their career.  We want our caregivers and clients to treat each other with dignity, respect with the human touch. All our service goals are to support the mind, body and soul. Even if it’s a little thing that makes a client’s day be better.
